Materials Handler

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Materials Handler to join their team. As a Materials Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $17.39

Shift: Evenings 5:00 AM TO 1:30PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY

What's the Job?

• Process customer shipments and manual shipments (B-tickets)
• Analyze order HOLDs and communicate with customer service
• Analyze inventory availability for shipments (location & quantity)
• Release sales orders to pick status
• Coordinate freight schedules including small packages, will call, LTL, and TL

What's Needed?

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills for coordination with various departments
• Basic understanding of shipping and inventory processes
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
• Availability to work overtime as required
