- Assist Warehouse Management team with daily tasks and assigned duties.
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels of consumables and unallocated materials to support the field team and reduce out-of-stocks.
- Assist in cataloging, monitoring and maintaining an electronic database of all excess job-related material including expiration dates.
- Generate and perform routine cycle counts and create reports detailing variances
- Properly inspect incoming freight, verifying the contents against the packing list and or purchase order.
- Properly receive incoming deliveries and maintain a daily log in a timely manner.
- Label all incoming job-related freight with the proper job.
- Properly stock incoming consumable and materials as needed.
- Support Warehouse Operations in the absence of the warehouse manager
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack to move material and equipment both inside and outside the warehouse.
- Assist field employees in locating and loading project specific materials.
- Assist field employees with the return of tools and equipment by helping them unload, giving directions where to store it and properly documenting the returned items in the tool log as well as in Hilti Ontrack
- Assist field employees with the issuance of tools and equipment by properly documenting the needed items in the tool log as well as in Hilti Ontrack.
- Assist field employees with the issuance of authorized consumables and unallocated materials using Hilti Ontrack.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace, including the warehouse, parking lot, and surrounding grounds. This may also require cleaning trash cans, toilets and restrooms.
- Assist in unloading incoming freight using a forklift, pallet jack or dolly.
- Assist with tool inventories performed at the warehouse and jobsites.
- Travel to other warehouses individually or as part of a team to assist with tool inventory, warehouse coverage or delivery.
- Collaborate with regional Warehouse Management team and Warehouse Director to execute Tool Inventory strategy
- Assist with local deliveries and pickup using light duty and medium duty trucks.
- May be required to come in early or stay late to support operational or field needs.
- Promote Chamberlin's Safety Program and always use safe work practices
- Learn, understand and demonstrate Chamberlin's core values of safety, quality, and teamwork
- Obey all driving safety rules and regulations.
