Customer Service Coordinator (Contract Position)

Role: Customer Service Coordinator WAYS Position assignment to the WAYS Career Path Program:

Job Objective

Temporary support to ensure smooth, cost‑effective, and timely execution of customer orders. The contractor will help maintain production and delivery accuracy while adhering to safety, quality, environmental, and compliance standards. The role includes providing timely updates and information to the supervising manager throughout the contract period.

Description Of Main Tasks Ensure a cost‑optimal, on‑time, and accurate delivery to the customer
  • Support daily order processing and delivery coordination during the contract assignment.
  • Enter customer orders into the SAP system and monitor, correct, or update transferred data
  • Input and validate customer orders; make adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy.
  • Invoicing, issue of delivery notes, and delivery dispatch
  • Prepare required documentation for shipments and invoicing.
Order tracking and monitoring of target date accuracy
  • Track order status and ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
  • Initiate immediate measures such as extra tours or escalation if timeline issues occur
  • Identify risks early and coordinate corrective actions.
Handling of the customer portal
  • Maintain customer portal entries and ensure data accuracy.
  • Master data maintenance (delivery plan, messaging determination)
  • Update and maintain relevant master data for the duration of the contract.
Active customer service
  • Provide professional, responsive customer support.
  • Interface communication and coordination within the site and, if applicable, with the technology unit and the customer
  • Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and external partners.
Additional Tasks
  • Other customer‑service‑related duties as assigned to support operational continuity during the contract period.
