Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Chief Information Officer, this position is responsible for performing a variety of Information Technology business support duties and basic GIS mapping duties related to the input and maintenance of county-wide digital information by utilizing fundamental GIS data management concepts, software, and County data standards. Business support duties include administrative records management, ERP data entry and analysis, procurement and vendor relationship management, inventory entry and management, I.T. customer support/service desk/internal support.
The position also maintains the county-wide GIS address database and serves as the addressing official for the Livingston County Addressing Ordinance. Calculates house numbers using grid addressing and coordinates street naming with the County Road Commission.

Pay Rate InformationThe Business Support Mapping Technician & Addressing Official position is a non-union position and starting pay is $31.81/hour
. This position is eligible for step pay increases within our Non-Union Grade 8 Wage Scale. Top end of the current wage scale for this position is $40.30/hour
.

- High school diploma or GED supplemented by additional college-level coursework in information and two years of progressively more responsible experience in GIS.
- The County, at its discretion, may consider an alternative combination of formal education and work experience.
- Valid Michigan Vehicle Operator's License.
