Process Technician

Overview

Mold setter position available in the Howell, MI area. This is a potential contract to hire or direct hire opportunity located at our client location, a leading manufacturer. 2nd shift position with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. Shift premium available. M-F, weekends as needed. Hours will be 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Set up, monitor, troubleshoot molding machine. Ensure mold set up and standards are met. Work with production, ensuring parts meet requirements and make adjustments as needed.

• Prepare tooling for changeovers
• Monitor the process/product
• Comply with required standards, minimize changeover time
• Guarantee and optimize the good working of the machines

• Injection molding or equivalent experience preferred
• Warehouse or manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Ability to follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with precision measuring parts such as micrometers and calipers
