Material Planning Analyst positions available in the Howell, Michigan area working at our client location who is leading manufacturer.

Contract to hire opportunities with a pay range of $25.00 to $28.00 an hour. Immediate openings available on all shifts with multiple needs on 2nd shift. Must be able to train on 1st shift for an average of three weeks, or as needed.

Shift Hours

1st Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
2nd Shift: 2:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.
3rd Shift: 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Responsibilities Scheduling

Ship Scheduling
Assure accurate customer demand data within computer‑based planning system
Determine and arrange truckload scheduling
Monitor customer shipments and inventory levels
On‑time delivery to customers

Press Scheduling

Develop and distribute raw material supplier releases
Convert customer demand into press schedules
Monitor assembly requirements, customer shipments and inventory levels
Distribute schedules

Assembly Scheduling

Convert customer demand into assembly schedules
Develop and distribute raw material supplier releases to support production schedule

Raw Material Scheduling

Convert customer demand into Raw Material schedules
Maintain all computer‑based planning files and databases as required
Facilitate ECN implementation and coordination
Represent department on appropriate launch or other major special project teams

Minimum Requirements

Must be proficient in Excel
Must have ERP experience
Must have automotive MFG experience
Must have experience dealing with customers in the auto mfg. environment
Associate's degree (AS) or equivalent training
Two years’ experience in Planning or 3+ years’ experience in Materials department using ERP/MRP system, or 5+ years’ experience with ERP/MRP system in production or related area
Good oral and written communication skills
