Tool Crib Associate

Primary Job Function

Maintain inventory levels for all new and repaired non‑production crib stock items, including receipt and stock rotation through distribution to associates in all departments. Any other jobs as assigned by management.

• Maintain accurate records and inventories on all crib items
• Coordinate with Purchasing & affected departments of all incoming shipments of new & repaired crib items
• Ensure accurate inventory levels on specific spare parts inventories for dedicated production (assembly/press) lines
• Ensure that all associates are provided with necessary supplies to perform their job functions
• Ensure proper communication to associates of non‑stock items in the crib
• Operate as a cooperative cohesive team to perform effectively and efficiently
• Maintain 5S and TPM standards
• Other duties as assigned by management

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Well‑developed interpersonal, communication and organization skills with an attention for detail
• Must be proficient with basic PC software programs and databases; MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) & ERP systems
• Blueprint reading and basic electrical and pneumatic skills helpful

• Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, gripping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the work day
• Hand and eye coordination
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours or more)
• Ability to use a phone and computer keyboard
• Ability to work in office and manufacturing environment
