An opportunity exists to join our exceptional team as a Registered Nurse (RN). Supporting the 10 bed 3 South surgical unit and/or the 19-bed acuity adaptable blended unit, this is an exceptional opportunity for those with RN experience in a hospital setting. This will support our Critical Care Unit and those with CCU or PCU/Step-Down experience are encouraged to apply.

• Graduation from a school of nursing that allows NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse. BSN preferred.

• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS.
• ACLS required for Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency, and PCU at Livingston.

• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• Effective Jan 1, 2013 all new hires must have a BSN degree or agree in writing to obtain BSN within five years from hire or transfer to RN role.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and age-specific needs.
• Interpersonal skills to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Critical thinking skills to perform principal duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care.
