Warehouse Worker

QA Technician roles available in the Howell, MI. area working at our client location who is an established manufacturer.

Day shift and afternoon shifts available. This is a contract position expected to last at least a month with potential to move to another shift or to advance into a team lead role on day shift. Pay rate is $19.00 an hour for day shift with a .50 premium on afternoons. Must be flexible to work OT.

Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Afternoon shift time: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

• Perform product and packaging testing using lab equipment and basic measurements.
• Conduct line inspections, cleanup verification, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Verify products meet visual and customer quality specifications.
• Approve finished products for release and report out-of-specification issues.
• Support QA audits, including customer and annual audits.
• Review quality data, identify trends, and communicate findings with production teams.
• Follow GMP, sanitation, documentation, and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

• Basic knowledge/understanding of MS 365 and Excel
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a hot environment and must conform to food defense requirements.
• Must have own reliable transportation as company is not on public transportation. Must have professional work references and long-term work history.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Must pass all pre-employment screens.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Food contact packaging industry experience.

• Experience with internal or external auditing programs in manufacturing environments.
• At least three (1) years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
