We are seeking a Membership & Events Manager to lead membership sales, events, and client relationships while serving as a trusted, front‑facing representative of the club. This is a mid‑level, execution‑focused role reporting to the Head of Business Operations.
The Membership & Events Manager is a client‑facing, revenue‑driving role responsible for managing the experience of prospective and existing members. This role blends sales, hospitality, and relationship management while serving as a trusted point of contact between the company and membership.
This role owns membership sales, corporate events and track rentals, site tours, and inbound inquiries, while also acting as a member advocate and community builder. Success requires strong interpersonal skills, consistent follow‑through, and the ability to deliver premium service with clear, confident sales execution.
The Membership & Events Manager plays a critical role in shaping first impressions, long‑term relationships, and the overall perception of the club. This position is best suited for someone who thrives in high‑touch environments and takes pride in delivering exceptional experiences.
ResponsibilitiesMembership Sales & Client Acquisition (Inbound Leads Only)
- Lead inbound prospective members through the full sales journey, from inquiry to close
- Conduct site tours and experiential walkthroughs tailored to client goals
- Maintain active pipelines, follow‑ups, and conversion tracking in Hub Spot
- Meet or exceed defined membership sales and revenue targets
Corporate Events & Track Rentals
- Manage inbound inquiries for corporate events, private rentals, and group experiences
- Coordinate event details in collaboration with internal operations teams
- Serve as the primary client contact before, during, and after events
Member Experience & Account Management
- Act as the dedicated point of contact for members and clients
- Proactively address questions, feedback, and concerns
- Build long‑term relationships that support retention, referrals, and upsell opportunities
Community Engagement
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and professional community culture
- Represent the club at hosted events, tours, and member‑facing moments
- Support initiatives that strengthen engagement and member satisfaction
Inquiry & CRM Management
- Own inbound inquiries across membership, events, and general interest
- Ensure accurate data entry, pipeline hygiene, and reporting within Hub Spot
- Provide regular updates and insights to leadership on sales activity and trends
- Comfort working in a performance‑based compensation structure
- Proven experience in premiumsales, hospitality, membership‑based organizations, or luxury services
- Strong working knowledge of Hub Spot CRM (or comparable CRM platforms)
- Demonstrated ability to build client relationships, close deals, and manage ongoing client membership needs
- Excellent verbal, written, and in‑person communication skills
- Highly organized, self‑directed, and comfortable owning outcomes
- Ability to balance warmth and hospitality with clarity, boundaries, and professionalism
This role is structured to reward performance and ownership:
- Commission:
Earned through membership sales, events, and rentals - Target Total Compensation: $115,000–$120,000 annually
