Job Summary
Current A&P License. Experience with maintaining Sikorsky S61, CASA 212, Pilatus PC-12 aircraft preferred. Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical system functions and interactions, including aircraft accessories, components, and other hardware. Thorough working knowledge of all current FAA regulations. Attention to detail and accuracy required. Excellent organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under the pressure of time and schedule constraints accurately.
Field work and travel as necessary. Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Supervise and coordinate daily hangar operations, including aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Lead, mentor, and support maintenance technicians and support staff.
- Support operational aircraft during training and other company missions.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company manuals and applicable aviation regulations.
- Conduct routine quality checks and inspections of completed work.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation and review the maintenance status, to include weight and balance currency and schedule all routine inspections in accordance with CHI company manuals.
- Promote a strong safety culture and enforce proper procedures and PPE usage.
- Coordinate with parts and inventory teams to ensure availability of required materials and tools.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and adjust priorities to meet operational deadlines.
- Assist with troubleshooting complex maintenance issues and provide technical guidance.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding operational status, delays, and staffing needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current A&P License.
