CHI Aviation is seeking candidates for a Second-in-Command (SIC) position on the S-61 helicopter. This is a dynamic role that offers opportunities to work both inside and outside of the USA based on the needs of the company. Schedules may vary with contracts, typically a 60/60, 45/45, 30/30, 21/21 or 14/14 schedule. Primary role will be as an SIC on construction aircraft with an opportunity to upgrade and/or move to other contract work based on proficiency not seniority.
Job Requirements:
- Commercial Helicopter Rating.
- Instrument - Helicopter Rating
- 500 Hours RW Time
- Current Medical Class II.
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds and push 75 pounds.
- Ability to travel on demand with limited notice to remote locations when required.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to pass a physical assessment at a Combat Readiness Center (CRC).
- Knowledge of basic computer skills and MS office.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
The preferred candidate will have:
- Utility Experience
- 1000 hours RW time.
- NVG Experience.
- Military experience.
- Heavy/Large helicopter experience.
