LETS provides nearly 150,000 passenger trips annually with a fleet of 28 wheelchair-accessible vans and buses. LETS is organized as a department of Livingston County and is funded by a combination of federal grants, state grants, revenue from passenger fares and service contracts, and local government and non-profit contributions.
Position Summary:Under the supervision of the Operations Manager for Transportation Services, this position is responsible for managing/overseeing the entire County fleet including but not limited to diagnosis and inspection of vehicles, maintaining a fleet software program, preparing and tracking work orders, overseeing and matching up invoices to actual work performed from outside vendors. In addition, performs and tracks vehicle preventative maintenance and repair activities to include inspections, road testing, and replacing/rebuilding of all types of vehicle equipment.

Pay Rate Information:The Fleet Manager position is a non-union position and starting pay is $26.29/hr
. This position is eligible for step pay increases within our Non-Union Grade 6 wage scale. Top end of the current wage scale for this position is $33.31/hr
