Growing engineering consulting firm in Central New Jersey is seeking a Fire Protection Designer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work on commercial, industrial, institutional, and healthcare projects with a well-established and stable company.
Responsibilities- Design fire sprinkler and fire protection systems
- Prepare shop drawings and hydraulic calculations
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, Hydra
CAD, or similar software - Participate in project meetings and field coordination
- 2+ years of fire protection design experience
- Experience with sprinkler system layouts and NFPA codes
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or fire protection design software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
