Program Manager

The Program Manager reports directly to the Program Director. This position is based in Howell, NJ and oversees our group home.

Salary: $58,000 - $68,000

• Plan and implement the occupational, recreational, social, and other developmental plans designed for each individual in their care.
• Ensure the internal and external facilities of the program are maintained to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed member of the community.
• Responsible for all staff within assigned program(s), including hiring, performance management, attendance management, payroll accuracy, and training compliance of each team member.
• Ensure all shifts within the program are adequately covered.
• Supervise the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of our individuals.
• Plan and participate in group outings for our individuals.
• Manage shopping for the home’s necessities, such as food, clothing, and household items.
• Schedule and transport individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.

• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED. Bachelor’s in a related field preferred.
• Valid non‑provisional driver's license.
• Ability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
• Two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
