Position: Digital Marketing and CRM Manager MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS · WELBECK WAY ·

Margaret Howell is a contemporary British clothing designer who has worked successfully in men’s and women’s clothing for over five decades. Today, Margaret Howell clothes are sold worldwide with 12 own shops in Europe, over 70 outlets in Japan and an established online business.

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing and CRM Manager to join the Marketing and Communications department to deliver effective planning and execution of marketing activity across the website, social media platforms, online advertising, CRM and customer events, to effectively and consistently communicate the Margaret Howell and MHL brands.

Full-time - 35 hours, Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities
  • Management and coordination of all Margaret Howell and MHL social media marketing, email marketing and organic posts to maximise e-commerce revenue and audience engagement
  • Define the seasonal Digital Marketing calendar based on planned company events, product launches, etc
  • Liaise with the external Digital Marketing agency, acting as point of contact responsible for briefing on upcoming campaigns, providing creative assets and ensuring all social media marketing is executed on-brand and on schedule
  • Digital Asset coordination, working with internal teams to plan, review and approve digital assets. Assist with landing page creation in Shopify when necessary to support digital marketing activity
  • Coordinate and execute email marketing using the Klaviyo platform, defining welcome flows and segmenting as appropriate to maximise engagement
  • Regularly report on the performance of all digital marketing and social media activity, interpreting figures provided by the external agency and social platforms and distilling to the wider business
  • Proactively use this data to identify opportunities for increased engagement and ROA
  • Liaise with global digital teams to ensure consistency across all markets
  • Update metadata on seasonal (non-product) pages to maximise SEO
  • Make site content updates and amends as and when necessary, to ensure the site is continually up to date and supports the brand and shops
  • With the support of the Marketing and Communications Assistant manage the CRM activity in line with company strategy and maintain the company guest database
  • Plan and deliver customer events to enhance relationships with existing customers and introduce new audiences to the brand
  • Work with the Global Head of Marketing and Communications to execute the seasonal media plan
Role Requirements ESSENTIAL
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a marketing role with strong digital experience, in house or agency, ideally in a fashion or design related field
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant social media platforms - Instagram / Pinterest / Facebook / X / Google
  • Full working knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Klaviyo (or equivalent)
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal, numerical, and analytical skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel and Asana
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work accordingly
