Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturer in the health and wellness industry, is seeking a Quality Control Microbiologist to join their Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on microbiology professional looking to make a direct impact on product quality, safety and regulatory compliance within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of microbiological testing activities and the opportunity to work cross‑functionally with Quality, Production and R&D teams in support of innovative consumer products.

• Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, components and finished products according to established procedures and specifications.
• Conduct microbial enumeration, identification, water quality testing and method validation activities.
• Support Out of Specification investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain laboratory documentation, test records and Certificates of Analysis.
• Manage sample receipt, tracking, storage and retention activities.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including autoclaves, incubators and analytical instruments.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA and quality system requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands‑on microbiology laboratory experience within a regulated environment.
• Experience with microbial testing, identification methods and laboratory documentation.
