Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Overview

Public Storage is the self‑storage industry leader and we are hiring now!

Earn $18.00 per hour.

Total rewards package available to our team:

• Flexible and full‑time schedules between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. (weekends until 5 p.m.)

• Work independently at multiple locations, spending time inside and outside.
• Assess customers’ storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of the daily business.
• Help customers stay current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.

• Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Walk and move around facilities for up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, such as sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal, clean and free of debris.

Successful candidates come from various customer‑service centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service‑based companies.

We require a valid driver’s license and employees to use their own vehicle to travel between work locations and/or conduct other work‑related business. Mileage reimbursement is available.
