We are seeking a Production Operator to join our growing team. Responsibilities

Within the Casting department, you will play an important role in supporting the casting process from beginning to end. You’ll work hands‑on with machinery and materials, helping to shape aluminum parts using heat and specialized equipment. This position involves working around high temperatures and molten metal, so attention to safety and quality is essential. You’ll receive training to operate machines, monitor production, and assist with basic maintenance tasks to keep everything running smoothly.

  • Prepare and Inspect Equipment: Set up and thoroughly inspect all casting equipment to ensure optimal performance and readiness for production.
  • Conduct Quality Testing: Collect metal samples during the casting process to perform quality tests, ensuring the materials meet required specifications.
  • Monitor and Report Defects: Continuously observe the casting process for any potential defects or issues and promptly report concerns to supervisors to maintain high product standards.
  • Perform Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of tooling and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Keep precise and up‑to‑date records and logs of all casting activities, including equipment performance and production data.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Strictly follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Organize and Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain a well‑organized and clean casting area, ensuring all materials and tools are properly stored and the workspace is free from hazards.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED – A solid foundation in education is essential to thrive in this role.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. – All applicants must have the legal right to work within the United States (Visa sponsorship is not available).
  • Physical fitness and background clearance – Must be able to pass a physical test and background screening to ensure the ability to meet the demands of the job in a safe and effective manner.
  • Flexible shift availability – The ability to work any shift, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, is a key part of maintaining operations.
Preferred

2 years of experience in casting/operator roles. Pay is based on experience. The more casting/operator experience you have, the higher the pay.
