Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

$11.00 to $14.00 per hour. Earn up to 8% commission on transactions, averaging an additional $1.00 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. They greet, engage, and interact with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They work with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open and close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per company policy.
• Answers incoming calls according to company standards.
• Communicates to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and to obtain firearms certification.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule willingness, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8% commission based on the gross profit of their performance. Detailed information will be provided during the interview process.
