Gas Breakdown Technician

Gas Breakdown Technician 40 hours per week, based in Preston £44,595 per annum plus the opportunity to earn more via standby (£200 per week) and callout What will you be doing in this role? You'll be a part of our Gateway Property Care team, a range of skilled trades people who carry out planned and responsive maintenance to our housing stock.

We have around 7000 properties across Preston, Fylde and South Ribble so you wont have to travel far. Youll have a CGA van to travel to and from work and to your jobs. You'll provide a comprehensive gas service including breakdown and maintenance within our tenants' homes and leaseholder premises in accordance with the relevant regulations, standards and departmental procedures.

What we are looking for in you:
We are looking for someone who shares our values and puts our customers and communities at the heart of all they do. The main things:
Youll have experience of gas breakdowns and repairs, fault diagnosis and repairs, together with experience of servicing and installations within domestic properties, including completion of relevant gas safety documentation You'll have a full manual driving licence as you'll travel across Preston using one of our company vans. Youll have NVQ L2 in Gas /or equivalent, plus CCN1, HTR1, CENWAT1, CKR1 or recognised equivalents.

Youll have great communication skills combined with a flexible can do attitude to make sure our customers receive the best possible service. It would be great if you also had:
Experience in Social Housing Further qualifications in Gas such as NVQ L3, ASHP and unvented hot water. Why work at Community Gateway?
