About us:

Northgate Vehicle Hire Huddersfield is one of our largest and busiest sites. With six ramps currently in place and plans to expand to seven, we’re investing in our workshop to boost efficiency and support the growth of our talented team.

We’re now looking for a skilled and experienced Level 3 Qualified Vehicle Technician or Level 2 to join us. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident working on a wide range of vehicles. Key areas of expertise we’re looking for include diagnostics, electrics, clutches, and gearboxes
.

At Northgate, we’re proud to work on a large number of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles
. As part of your development, we’ll support you in achieving your IMI Level 3 qualifications in EV and Hybrid technology
, along with other specialist training such as tail lift maintenance, windscreen repair, and AdBlue systems
.

You’ll be working exclusively on our own fleet
- no upselling, no customer pressure
-just quality technical work. The fleet consists of around 90-95% Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) and 5-10% cars
, giving you great variety and the chance to enhance your skills across different vehicle types.

Our Huddersfield workshop is home to a highly experienced and knowledgeable team, from our technicians through to our workshop manager. You’ll have the support and mentorship you need to grow your capabilities, expand your knowledge, and reach your full potential
