Multi Trade Operative

Overview

Are you a skilled Multi Trade Operative based in Huddersfield or surrounding areas? Join Liberty and make a real difference in the communities we serve. You will be working for an annual salary of £34,067.00, with potential travel to other locations as required. All travel time will be considered part of working hours.

• First and second fix plumbing.
• Repair and renew ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T and G or sheet flooring.
• Repair and renew doors, door casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards and ducting panelling.
• Patch plastering and installation of a shower tray.
• Tile walls and install a bathroom suite with WC, WHB and mixer showers.
• Paint and decorate to a decent standard.
• Install radiators including draining down and refilling systems.

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3).
• Experience as a Multi Trade Joiner/Plumber, competent in all aspects of the Joiner and/or Plumbing trade.
• Knowledge of the Plastering trade is desirable.
• Ability to carry out multi‑skill trades, core joinery or plumbing, and experience working in a social housing environment is desirable.
• Driving licence is essential.
• Skilled workers hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness and own tools.
