SUMMARY:
A coach’s primary responsibility is to improve the performance of athletes by motivating, instructing, and managing the sport’s team. Further details on the job will be provided during the interview.
Season start date: 8/24/2026
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- The candidate should have complete knowledge of the sport and the ability to teach and motivate student‑athletes to be successful academically and athletically. Coaching experience at the high school level preferred.
- CPR/First Aid Certified required.
- Successful completion of Criminal Records Check (CORI) and fingerprints prior to start date.
- Physical demands: ability to lift / push / pull up to 15–20 lbs for short periods, walk up and down stairs several times a day, stand or sit for extended periods, use hands, operate a computer and related equipment. Must communicate effectively with students, staff, and the public.
