What you’ll do in this role

Primary purpose: perform work involving general engineering methods and tools. As an entry‑level engineer, you will ensure Integer’s internal and external customer expectations are met or exceeded with guidance from more experienced engineers and managers.

• Develop processes and equipment to introduce new products into manufacturing sites, ensuring safe, high‑quality, and cost‑effective results.
• Identify existing or develop new process and equipment technology, characterize and optimize processes, and validate processes and manufacturing lines.
• Lead or assist with efficient production line layouts, process improvements to existing plant operations, and estimation of production times, staffing requirements, and related costs.
• Select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to adapt and modify existing products and processes.
• Review procedures and plans prior to implementation and evaluate existing products, processes, and materials for failure analysis and potential improvements.
• Investigate, develop, document, and implement new product and process technologies of moderate complexity and scope.
• Apply data analysis practices to establish root cause for product and process failures or support justification for improvements.
• Observe products and processes to recognize discrepancies and follow detailed steps or processes to establish root cause.
• Collaborate with others, ask questions, and regularly check for understanding to support your development as an engineer.
• Act as a standard bearer for Quality, ensuring adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) and contributing to corrective and preventive actions.
• Support Integer’s Manufacturing Excellence and Market‑Focused Innovation Strategies, including participation in integer production system activities, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Defined goals and objectives specifying key projects and expected milestones.
• Quality: achievement of site Quality KPIs.
• Innovation: generate continuous improvement suggestions and support their implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related technical field and 0‑3 years of experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience if education requirement is not met.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Solid technical aptitude and effective contributor to a team or individual results.
• Competences in written and oral communications.
• Calm demeanor in a high‑energy, constantly changing production environment.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with a belief that failure is not an option.

Manufacturing Coating Engineer Salary: $67,650 – $99,220.

Compensation program includes base salary and a cash‑based incentive program. Benefits: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, adoption benefits, parental leave after one year, supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, 401(k) with company match, 80 company holidays per year plus paid time off.
