• Update pricing and terms of sale on all vendor documentation.
• Negotiate price and delivery with suppliers.
• Verify price and delivery terms of purchases in collaboration with accounts payable.
• Help review vendor statements and reports for discrepancies; elevate issues as needed.
• Perform expediting and late delivery tracking as required.
• Create and manage all purchasing transactions independently.
• Assist with data entry and account maintenance in the ERP system.
• Respond to routine vendor inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Use purchasing software systems to process transactions and generate simple reports.
• Prepare vouchers for non-inventory-related expenses, service contracts, and credit memos under supervision.
• Provide administrative support to the Purchasing and Supply Chain department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of purchasing or planning experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); intermediate computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Above average math and quantitative analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
