Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Amplifier Construction Technician to contribute to the creation of our premium, hand-wired guitar amplifiers. This role demands exceptional soldering skills, a deep understanding of electronic circuitry, and a passion for creating exceptional audio equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meticulously assembling and soldering components according to our precise schematics and build processes.
Responsibilities:- Perform high-quality, point-to-point wiring and soldering of electronic components within premium guitar amplifier chassis.
- Interpret and follow detailed wiring diagrams, and build instructions.
- Select and prepare electronic components for installation.
- Ensure precise component placement and secure connections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform visual and electrical inspections of completed assemblies.
- Adhere to strict quality control standards.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of build processes.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in build efficiency and quality.
- Proven experience in hand-wired electronic assembly, preferably with guitar amplifiers or similar high-quality audio equipment.
- Exceptional soldering skills, including proficiency with point-to-point wiring.
- Strong understanding of electronic components and circuitry.
- Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Passion for music and guitar amplification.
- Experience with tube amplifiers is highly preferred.
- Ability to use and maintain soldering and electronic testing equipment.
