Amp Pre-Assembly Specialist

Location: Hudson MA – Amplified Nation HQ

Job Type: Full-time M-F 9-5pm

We believe in the art of hand-built amplification and are looking for a dedicated and skilled builder to join our team.

Job Summary

Amplified Nation is seeking a meticulous and skilled Amplifier Pre-Fabrication Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and pre-assembling components for our ultra high-quality guitar amplifiers, ensuring precision and efficiency in the manufacturing process. While this role requires a understanding of electronic components, soldering techniques, and the ability to follow detailed technical drawings and specifications, we can train the right candidate with little to no experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare electronic components for assembly, including wire preparation, circuit board population, and amp chassis assembly.
  • Pre-assemble according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Perform precise soldering of electronic components, ensuring reliable connections.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist in inventory management of electronic components.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or experience in electronics preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail a must.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Work experience is preferred.
  • Passion for music and guitar amplification.
