Position:Inspection Operator
Vishay Centerline is currently seeking an Inspection Operator. The incumbent will be responsible for checking substrates for defects and imperfections at various points in the production process and will be cross‑trained to operate precision finishing machines.
Schedule- 8‑hour shift 1 pm‑9:30 pm (split shift)
- Inspecting materials before, during, and after the production process
- Cleaning and packing parts
- Populating the Yield Analysis Board
- Documenting findings
- Using high‑ and low‑powered microscopes, micrometers, and calipers
- Maintaining a clean work area and equipment in an orderly condition
- Communicating with machine operators and management regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Excellent hand‑eye coordination and finger dexterity (required)
- Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts (required)
- Continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to detail (required)
- Self‑motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude (required)
