Lapping Operator – Temp-to-Hire

A precision manufacturer in Hudson, MA is seeking two dependable, detail-driven Lapping Operators to join its production team. In this hands-on role, you'll run one to two machines at a time, measure parts with precision, and deliver an even, high-quality finish on small and delicate components. You'll train on 1st shift before moving to the split shift, giving you time to build confidence in the work.

$23.50 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential when working the split shift.

Temp-to-hire, with 2 positions available.

2nd/split shift, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Train on 1st shift.

• Check tables and machines regularly to keep operations running smoothly.
• Measure pieces before, during, and after processing to ensure accuracy.
• Determine the optimal run-time for each job based on specifications.
• Load parts and run one to two machines at the same time.
• Flip and rotapero te parts to ensure an even finish.
• Follow all prescribed safety regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity (required).
• Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts.
• A continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
