We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team as a Lead Provider, responsible for providing exceptional care and making a real impact on the lives of our patients within our urgent care clinic. Lead Providers act as clinical leaders for all staff, mentoring and supporting new‑grad providers and allied healthcare professionals.

• Provide Patient-Centered Care
  • Conduct health assessments, physical exams, and review medical histories to address short‑ and long‑term patient needs while staying committed to high‑quality, efficient care.
  • Interview patients, perform physical examinations, obtain, update, and study medical histories.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests (e.g., x‑rays, electrocardiograms, laboratory studies) and interpret results.
  • Administer injections and immunizations, suture wounds, and manage infections.
  • Educate and counsel patients on health, therapeutic regimens, growth and development, family planning, and wellness.
• Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare clear, complete, accurate, and legible medical records for each patient. Type, edit, and electronically sign all office notes, reports, and records using EMR in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with company and state procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection‑control policies and protocols.
  • Comply with legal and professional requirements, including studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence, and advising management on needed actions.
• Collaborate with a Team Work collaboratively and proactively with other providers and healthcare practitioners to efficiently treat patients, plan coordinated dispositions (including transfer), and ensure timely care.
• Act as a clinic leader, especially when the Practice Manager is not in‑clinic. Provide support and mentorship to new‑graduate providers and other clinic staff.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Act as a preceptor to new provider staff, providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.

• Education, Licensure, & Certifications
  • Master’s degree and certification by an NP certifying body.
  • Maintained DEA license with no restrictions.
  • BLS certification:
    American Heart Association or American Red Cross. CPR, ACLS, or online‑only classes are not accepted.
• Relevant experience Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills Able to mentor providers and non‑provider clinic staff.

• Strong knowledge of
  • Customer and personal service principles and processes, including needs assessment and quality standards.
  • Applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state rules pertinent to medical practices.
  • Relevant drugs and their chemical composition, structure, and properties.
  • Non‑pharmaceutical patient care aids and their uses.
  • Current principles, methods, and procedures for medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
