Quality Inspector - Contract To Hire

A precision manufacturer in Hudson, MA is seeking a dependable, detail-driven Quality Inspector to join its production team. In this hands-on role, you'll inspect substrate material for defects at multiple points in the process, document your findings, and help keep quality standards high on small and delicate parts. You'll train on 1st shift before moving to the split shift, giving you time to build confidence in the work.

$23.00 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential when working the split shift. Temp-to-hire.

2nd/split shift, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Train on 1st shift.

• Inspect substrate material for defects and imperfections at various points in the production process.
• Document quality findings on the production Excel sheet.
• Clean and pack parts for shipping.
• Populate the yield analysis boards.
• Use high- and low-powered microscopes, micrometers, and calipers to measure and inspect parts.
• Communicate regularly with machine operators and site management on the status of orders in the department.
• Follow all site safety processes and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1-3 years of inspection experience (preferred).
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts.
• A continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
