Position SummaryDrives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, and inventory levels; budgets and forecasts sales; assesses economic trends and community needs; provides direction and guidance on customer service approaches and techniques; resolves customer complaints; oversees community outreach programs; enforces compliance with company policies and legal regulations; analyzes reports and implements safety and quality assurance measures;
develops action plans to improve performance; directs Vision Center Associates in maintaining confidentiality and documentation; supervises and develops Associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and recognition; ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting on member needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidential information, performing minor frame repair, and maintaining optical equipment; upholds the Company’s Open Door Policy by listening to Associates, researching issues, and suggesting resolutions;
coordinates job‑related activities and fosters a culture of belonging and continuous learning.

- Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.
- Experience supervising Associates.
