Job Summary

The Intermediate Test Operator will test products against defined test procedures for all products and work closely with engineering to assure all defects are addressed and fixed in a timely manner. The operator will be in charge of running different tests on various components and documenting test data.

Job Responsibilities
  • Enter data (manual key entry) into an Excel based test data sheet.
  • Maintain daily log of completed and in‑queue items.
  • Test modules using lab equipment that has been configured by Test Engineering.
  • Perform testing on products where training has been completed.
  • Compile accurate and detailed test data.
  • Document tested hardware and prepare test data for shipment.
  • Operate automatic and semi‑automatic test stations.
  • Perform mechanical assembly when needed.
  • Notify Test Engineering and Quality of equipment that is within 30 days of calibration.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Test software knowledge.
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures.
  • Interest in learning electronic technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Linux preferred.

  • Constantly move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue, including positioning oneself to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Engage in constant movement and use of limbs. Specific abilities include prolonged sitting, twisting, working under a microscope for long periods of time, and occasional standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and gripping on a daily basis.
  • Frequently observe, detect, discern, and convey information, requiring near‑, far‑, and color‑vision acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Demonstrate good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina, as well as the ability to safely control surgical razor blades and small hand tools used to manipulate tuning stubs under a microscope. The job may also require overtime work.
Export Control Requirement

This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations. You may only access such information if you are a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. government.

Pay Grade Range
  • $38,300.00 – $76,600.00 annual salary for in‑office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX and all remote employees.
  • $42,900.00 – $85,800.00 annual salary for in‑office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA.
  • $45,200.00 – $90,400.00 annual salary for in‑office or hybrid employees in NJ.
