The Intermediate Test Operator will test products against defined test procedures for all products and work closely with engineering to assure all defects are addressed and fixed in a timely manner. The operator will be in charge of running different tests on various components and documenting test data.
Job Responsibilities:
* Enter data (manual key entry) in to an excel based test data sheet.
* Maintain daily log of completed and in queue items.
* Test modules using lab equipment that has been configured by Test Engineering
* Perform testing on products where training has been completed
* Compile accurate and detailed test data
* Document tested hardware and prepare test data for shipment.
* Operate automatic and semi-automatic test stations.
* Perform mechanical assembly when needed.
* Notify Test Engineering and Quality of equipment that is within 30 days of calibration.
* Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
* High School diploma
* Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
* Test software knowledge
* Knowledge of ESD procedures
* Interest in learning electronic technology
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of Linux preferred

* Constantly move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Specific abilities required by the job include positioning oneself to lift or move objects weighing up to 40lbs.
* Constant movement and use of limbs. Specific abilities required by this job include prolonged sitting, twisting and working under a microscope for long periods of time will be required. Occasional Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and gripping is required daily.
* Frequently observe, detect, discern, and convey information. Specific abilities required by this job include near, far and color vision acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
* Requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Ability to safely control surgical razor blades and small hand tools used to manipulate tuning stub under a microscope. Specific abilities required by this job include the frequent requirement of overtime work.
