This role supports procurement operations for a regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
You will work closely with internal teams and suppliers to manage purchasing activities, vendor communication, and contract compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage procurement / purchasing activities for materials, equipment, and services
- Prepare and process RFQ, RFP, and RFI documents
- Coordinate with suppliers and handle vendor management and follow-ups
- Perform cost analysis, price evaluation, and contract negotiation
- Monitor contract performance, delivery schedules, and compliance
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, or buyer role
- Background in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or regulated industry preferred
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, or federal procurement regulations preferred
- Strong experience with vendor management and supplier communication
- Proficiency with ERP / MRP / procurement software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
