We are currently looking for Opto‑Mechanical Assemblers to join our team onsite in our Hudson, NH office. We foster a professional, high‑energy culture where employees are empowered to succeed.

This position will assemble, inspect and perform acceptance testing on complex optical‑mechanical systems. To accomplish this effectively, the Opto‑Mechanical Assembler must work independently from engineering drawings, engineering changes, bills of material, work instructions, test procedures and production schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Build and validate precision electrical‑optical‑mechanical assemblies in strict accordance with procedure.
  • Enter data into company databases.
  • Use standardized tools and electric equipment to perform mechanical assembly on opto‑mechanical assemblies.
  • Execute simple standardized process inspections/tests throughout the production process.
  • Interface with engineers to support special builds and experiment with detailed instructions.
  • Prepare completed assemblies for shipment.
  • Follow control measures and processes to ensure the quality of modules produced.
  • Maintain a clean work area and be responsible for designated tools.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience building and testing optical systems.
  • Experience with complex structures having precision parts.
  • Familiarity with system‑level testing.
  • Comfortable operating PC‑based test equipment with custom software.
  • Experience diagnosing system‑level issues.
  • Capable of developing assembly procedures for prototype builds.
