2nd Shift Plastics Injection Molding Technician

We're seeking a Plastics Injection Molding Technician to work at a premier manufacturing client in Hudson, NH. With us, it's all about finding the job that's just right.

Direct Hire Hudson, NH 2nd Shift, 3:00pm-11:30pm (Monday-Friday) – Training on 1st shift for 1-2 weeks

Pay Rate: $30–$34/hr What's a typical day as a Plastics Injection Molding Technician? You'll be:
  • Setting up and running injection molding machines for efficient production of plastic molded components.
  • Removing and installing molds, positioning and aligning equipment, and connecting water, hydraulics, and air feeds as required.
  • Adjusting machine control settings, performing proper lockout procedures for shutdowns, and purging material as needed.
  • Completing required documentation such as tool change reports and production logs accurately and promptly.
  • Troubleshooting equipment, fine-tuning processing parameters, and resolving molding or equipment-related issues.
  • Supporting production operators with technical guidance and hands-on assistance.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and adhering to all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement efforts focused on cycle time and setup reduction.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience changing molds in an injection molding environment.
  • Possess a basic understanding of the injection molding process and material handling.
  • Have experience with press shutdown/startup, identifying molding defects, and automation used in injection molding.
  • Are skilled in setting up auxiliary and press-side secondary equipment.
  • Are proficient in using overhead cranes, portable gantries, powered pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and adjust priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership at all levels.
  • Can work independently under minimal supervision with a focus on meeting production goals and customer requirements.
  • Are a team player who values safety and continuous improvement.
