Overnight Security Officers Southern NH

Job Description

A Night Security Officer will safeguard people, property, and assets for Securitas clients across Southern New Hampshire. This full‑time or part‑time position covers multiple sites and provides opportunities for growth and training.

• South Nashua – Mobile Vehicle Patrol for 12 hours (Sunday 5:00 pm–5:00 am) at $20.00 per hour
• Hudson – 16‑hour shift (Wednesday & Thursday 11:00 pm–7:00 am) at $21.00 per hour
• Manchester – 32‑hour shift (Monday–Thursday 11:00 pm–7:00 am) at $20.60 per hour

• Surveillance:
  Monitor cameras and patrol assigned premises to detect suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Access Control:
  Enforce restrictions, check identification, issue visitor passes, and restrict access to authorized personnel.
• Emergency Response:
  Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies, including medical, fire, or criminal incidents, and report or contact law enforcement as needed.
• Incident Reporting:
  Document incidents, suspicious activity, and breaches of security in clear, detailed reports.
• Patrolling:
  Conduct foot or vehicle patrols to ensure all areas—entrances, parking, perimeters—are secure and to check for unlocked doors, windows or gates.
• Customer Service:
  Greet and assist visitors or employees, answer inquiries, and maintain a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Safety Inspections:
  Inspect premises for hazards, fire risks, or conditions that could compromise safety.
• Conflict Resolution:
  Handle minor disputes or disturbances using conflict‑resolution skills to maintain a calm environment.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with other security staff, law enforcement, and emergency responders to coordinate efforts and respond to incidents.

• Excellent observational and de‑escalation skills; able to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communicator; comfortable working with both global and local teams.
• Committed to ethical practices and following all safety protocols with a respectful approach.
• Intermediate computer skills required.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read and write English effectively.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
