- Work with the Fitter to complete job‑site tasks in a timely, effective manner.
- Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain state licensing.
- Follow company safety procedures, including driving, PPE, and lockout/tag‑out policies.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization per company guidelines.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Fitter or Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Manager.
- Capable of working independently with moderate supervision.
- Team‑oriented and able to handle pressure to meet deadlines.
- Initiative to learn trade skills.
- Ability to study installation, inspection, and servicing codes.
- Physical stamina to meet job requirements.
- Proficient reading labels, signage, directions, and basic math.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Experience in fire protection or commercial customer service (not required).
- Background in commercial sprinkler systems or comfort with pipe fitting, electrical work, and fittings (not required).
Drug test, pre‑employment background screening, and MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
