Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate - Waste Management (WM) Join WM's Warehouse & Manufacturing team supporting essential environmental services. In this role, you'll safely receive, store, and distribute materials and equipment that keep collection, recycling, and landfill operations running. Responsibilities include inventory control, order picking, equipment staging, and maintaining a clean, compliant warehouse. You'll operate material-handling equipment, follow strict safety and environmental procedures, and collaborate with operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store inbound materials, parts, and equipment safely
• Pick, stage, and load materials for production and outbound shipments
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment per safety standards
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or scanners
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with WM safety and environmental policies
• Assist with recycling, waste segregation, and proper handling of hazardous or regulated materials
• Conduct routine cycle counts and support inventory audits
• Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and operations teams to meet service and production timelines
• Follow all PPE, OSHA, and WM safety procedures, reporting hazards or incidents immediately
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
