Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab​/EP

Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Registered Nurse

Seeking a qualified RN with Cardiac Cath Lab/EP specialization to provide skilled nursing care in a high-acuity hospital setting. The nurse will support complex cardiac procedures and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for cardiac cath and electrophysiology interventions.
• Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, and manage complications during procedures.
• Assist physicians during PCI, structural heart, and diagnostic cath procedures.
• Document patient care, procedures, and outcomes accurately in GE EMR systems.
• Educate patients and families regarding post-procedure care and recovery instructions.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP.
• Proven proficiency in PCI, structural heart, and diagnostic cath procedures.
• Strong understanding of GE EMR, Mac Lab, and Meditech systems.
• Demonstrate energetic, positive attitude, and excellent teamwork skills.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
