Bookkeeper (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Cash Reconciliation) Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support our accounting operations. This role will be responsible for managing Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and cash reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable (AR)- Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
- Apply cash receipts and reconcile customer payments
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals
- Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wires)
- Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
- Ensure timely payments and capture available discounts
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash balances
- Maintain accurate cash records and support cash reporting
- Assist with month-end close processes
- Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
- Support audits by providing requested documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong understanding of AR, AP, and bank reconciliation processes
- Experience with accounting software (Net Suite) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in a multi-entity or e-commerce and manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems and process improvements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
