Job Description
Experienced Concrete Laborer
Whited & Sons Concrete – Hudson, Ohio
Position Summary
Whited & Sons Concrete is seeking an experienced Concrete Laborer or someone willing to be trained for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare job sites for concrete placement, including excavation, grading, and material staging.
- Set, brace, and remove concrete forms.
- Install rebar, wire mesh, and other reinforcement materials.
- Assist with pouring, spreading, raking, and leveling concrete.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist finishers and foremen throughout all phases of construction.
- Perform demolition and site cleanup as required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of concrete, construction, or related labor experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
- Experience using construction hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
- Valid driver's license
