We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support heavy industrial projects. This role focuses on the design and drafting of electrical power and control systems up to 480V, three-phase. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on electrical engineer with strong design expertise-not a software or programming‑focused engineer.
Key Responsibilities- Design electrical power and control systems for heavy industrial applications, including low, medium, and high voltage systems up to 480V, three‑phase.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings and documentation using the latest version of AutoCAD.
- Utilize CADD and Solid Works for electrical design and drafting.
- Perform on‑site investigations and field verification as required (occasional out‑of‑town travel).
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable National and Local electrical codes.
- Coordinate with project teams to support engineering, construction, and installation activities.
- 3-10 years of experience in electrical design and drafting for heavy industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems (low, medium, and high voltage up to 480V).
- Solid understanding of electrical controls.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of National and Local electrical codes.
- Ability to conduct field investigations and site visits as needed.
