PRINICPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide ongoing support to multiple software development teams to facilitate compliance with the technology roadmap through training, design reviews and code reviews while obtaining developer feedback for future technology roadmap revisions.
• Create and maintain standards, usage examples and training materials for all technologies within the technology roadmap for use by the development organization. Standards and examples will demonstrate concrete implementation specifications while training materials may include self-directed examples, live webcasts, group presentations or pre-recorded materials.
• Work with enterprise architecture, development and other engineering teams to maintain the technology roadmap by identifying candidate technologies and usage to fulfill the enterprise technology strategy.
• Introduce new technology roadmap items into the organization through specifying a need case, executing a proof-of-concept and managing an implementation through a pilot development project.
• Create and document technology reengineering, consolidation and migration strategies that define a roadmap between current and future state while working within the constraints of existing software development plans.
• Assist with high-urgency issues affecting production systems in a time-critical manner while expediting root cause analysis and communicating appropriate remediation activities to development teams.
