About The Job OpportunityModality Service Engineer, Asset Intelligence leads the development and deployment of predictive service capabilities for medical imaging systems (CT/MRI). This role sits at the intersection of field service expertise, data analytics, and product innovation
, translating real‑world equipment behavior into scalable software‑driven solutions.
- Lead creation, validation, and optimization of alerts and error events from connected systems and sensors
- Translate failure modes, error codes, and service patterns into predictive rules and logic
- Validate alert efficacy across OEMs, modalities, and diverse installed bases
- Continuously improve predictive accuracy, coverage, and performance
- Serve as SME for medical imaging systems (CT/MRI), including reliability and failure modes
- Apply deep technical knowledge to improve uptime, FTFR, and MTTR outcomes
- Identify trends and root causes across systems to drive service improvements
- Provide technical insight to guide product development and analytics models
- Travel to customer sites to deploy sensors, configure systems, and validate performance
- Partner with Radiology and HTM teams to operationalize solutions
- Collaborate with customers to refine troubleshooting workflows and service processes
- Deliver high‑quality customer support both remotely and on‑site
- Partner with Engineering (including ML teams) to test, validate, and scale new capabilities
- Translate customer insights into product enhancements and new features
- Define priorities and tradeoffs based on customer needs, QA, and competitive landscape
- Contribute to roadmap development and innovation initiatives
- Assess market needs, competitive positioning, and product performance
- Develop business cases for strategic investments and technology development
- Provide reporting and insights to senior leadership and Board‑level stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement across product quality, service delivery, and analytics
- 10+ years of experience in field service or service engineering for medical imaging systems
- Hands‑on experience across multiple OEMs (GE, Siemens, Philips, Hologic, etc.)
- Deep expertise in CT/MRI systems, including failure modes and diagnostics
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify trends and translate into action
- Experience working cross‑functionally with engineering, product, and customers
- Ability to travel regularly and work directly with customer environments
- Experience with predictive analytics, AI/ML, or connected/IoT‑enabled systems
- Experience working with healthcare systems, HTM teams, or radiology departments
- Familiarity with data pipelines, system logs, or analytics platforms
- Experience building business cases or influencing strategic product decisions
