Are you a seasoned maintenance technician with a knack for troubleshooting and a passion for keeping things running smoothly? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Permanent Maintenance Technician for our 2nd or 3rd shift in the Manufacturing industry. This role is a crucial part of our team, ensuring our production equipment is in top-notch condition, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of wiring, pneumatics, preventative maintenance, and multi-craft skills. Responsibilities:
- Performing preventative maintenance on all production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Troubleshooting and repairing any issues with the equipment, including mechanical and electrical problems.
- Utilizing your knowledge of wiring and pneumatics to maintain and repair equipment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and practices.
- Responding promptly to any breakdowns or issues with the equipment, and working efficiently to resolve them.
- Keeping detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Training other team members on basic maintenance tasks and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with wiring, pneumatics, preventative maintenance, and multi-craft skills.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical issues with production equipment.
- Strong knowledge of basic safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
- High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field is a plus.
