Medication Partner (Part‑Time)

Location

Hudson, Ohio

Compensation

Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000

Starting wage: $22.00 per hour

Shift schedule:
Week 1 – Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Week 2 – Monday, Saturday, Sunday 6pm‑11pm.

Responsibilities
  • Advocate of Empathy:
    Build human connections with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
  • Generous Gift Giver:
    Be present, share talents, be supportive team member and dependable colleague.
  • Engaged Egghead:
    Show curiosity, ask questions, and pursue continuous development and training.
  • Proactive:
    Assist residents with activities of daily living – bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Ensure proper administration of medication.
  • Maintain medication carts and provide proper record‑keeping.
  • Assist residents with standing, walking, and post‑fall assistance.
Qualifications
  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • Appropriate state certification, fully active and in good standing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Mature interpersonal skills to work with co‑workers.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive, energetic attitude and love for residents.
  • Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop all day and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capacity to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post‑fall assistance.
  • Clear criminal background check.
  • Good health, verified by physician screening within six months prior or seven days after hire; TB test free at screening and annually thereafter.
