Salary: $35 - $42 per hour

A well-established food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team on either 2nd or 3rd shift. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on role ideal for a mechanically and electrically skilled maintenance professional with experience in a food, beverage, packaging, or other high-speed manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Performing preventative maintenance on all production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Troubleshooting and repairing any issues with the equipment, including mechanical and electrical problems.

Utilizing your knowledge of wiring and pneumatics to maintain and repair equipment.

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Assisting in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and practices.

Responding promptly to any breakdowns or issues with the equipment, and working efficiently to resolve them.

Keeping detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Training other team members on basic maintenance tasks and safety procedures.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.

Proven experience with wiring, pneumatics, preventative maintenance, and multi-craft skills.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical issues with production equipment.

Strong knowledge of basic safety procedures and protocols.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift.

High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field is a plus.
